The Mission of the Waverly Community House

Waverly Community House

Is to enhance the lives of individuals and families in the region through educational, recreational and cultural opportunities.

The Waverly Community House is grateful to our donors for their generosity. Your gift will be used to support programs, people and an architectural treasure.

GIFTS OF CASH
A gift of cash is the most common form of charitable giving. An outright gift to the Community House qualifies as a federal tax deduction for up to 50% of adjusted income. It is considered made on the date it is mailed or hand delivered. It must be made or mailed by December 31 to qualify for tax deductibility for the Calendar Year

MEMORIAL AND TRIBUTE GIFTS
It is customary for friends and family members to express sympathy through memorial giving as a meaningful way to offer consolation on the loss of a loved one.   At other times, marking a special occasion such as an anniversary or birthday through a tribute gift may be appreciated more than a gift.
Memorial contributions and tributes are donated directly to the Comm's Endowment Fund to benefit programs and operations unless it is specifically designated as a contribution to the annual sustaining fund.
The Comm will formally notify the respective friend or family member of your gift and it will be noted in our monthly newsletter. The amount will remain confidential .
